Support
Globora is a trip planner for groups. If something isn't working or you have a question, we'd like to help.
Email us: support@shaperk.com
Tell us what happened, and which phone and app version you're using. You'll find the version in the app's settings. Please don't send passport details, medical information or passwords by email.
Common questions
I didn't get my verification email
Check your spam folder first. You can ask for a new link from the verification screen in the app or on the website. You need to verify your email before you can use your account.
I forgot my password
Choose "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen, or go to the password reset page. We'll email you a link. It opens in your browser.
How do I add someone to my trip?
If you own the trip, add them under Travellers with their name and email address. They'll see an invitation when they log in with that address, or after they sign up with it and verify it, and they join only if they accept. We don't send an invitation email, so let them know yourself. You can also add someone with no email address, just for splitting costs.
Someone added me to a trip and I don't want to be on it
Ask the trip's owner to remove you. If you can't, email us and tell us the trip's name.
Does the app work with no signal?
Yes. Trips are saved on your phone, encrypted, so you can open them with no connection. Open the app while you're online before you leave, so that it has the latest copy. Changes made by others show up the next time you're online.
Will I get notifications on my phone?
Not in this version. Reminders come by email: a summary before you leave, the next day's plan each evening, a nudge to check in for flights, and a note to settle up afterwards.
How do I stop the emails?
Use the "Stop these emails" link in any trip email, or choose what you get in your profile. You'll still get essential account emails, such as password resets.
Who can see my passport and health details?
Your passport and visa details and copies aren't shown to other travellers. Your emergency details, including health notes and insurance, are shown to people on your trips only if you turn on sharing in your profile. It's off by default. All of these fields are optional. See the privacy policy for more.
How does the app lock work?
You can turn it on in the app's settings. Globora then asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint when you open it. Your phone does the check, and we never receive your biometric data.
Do the balances mean someone has been paid?
No. Globora keeps a record and suggests who should pay whom, but no money moves through it. Pay each other however you like, then record it as settled.
Does the passport warning mean I can travel?
No. It only compares your passport's expiry date with your trip's dates. Entry rules differ by country and nationality, so check them with the authorities or your carrier.
How much does it cost?
Globora has no ads and no in-app purchases.
How do I delete my account?
See the delete account page for the steps and what happens to your data.
